EFRA statement: EFSA scientific opinion on the exposure to TBBPA and its derivates in food.

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has published in December 2011 a scientific opinion on the exposure to TBBPA and its derivates in food.

EFSA looked at 344 food samples from the “fish and other seafood” food group that were submitted for analysis by Norway and Spain, covering the period from 2007 to 2010, and no TBBPA was found in any of the samples.
